CELEBRATE THE OPENING OF THE BROOME RACING CARNIVAL!

Get ready for the Broome concert event of 2013 this June, when Australian music legends ICEHOUSE bring their awe-inspiring audiovisual show and catalogue of hits to the magnificent Cable Beach Amphitheatre on Sunday June 2.

Also starring local heroes The Steve Pigram Quartet and Desert Child, the event will help celebrate the opening weekend of the Broome Racing Carnival.

Cable Beach Amphitheatre is in front of the Cable Beach Club Resort and overlooks Broome’s world-famous Cable Beach.

The amphitheatre has previously played host to concerts from Opera Under The Stars, Hilltop Hoods and a number of other big names.

The concert is a WA Country Cups initiative and is supported by Eventscorp’s Regional Events Program, which is funded by the State Government’s Royalties for Regions program. The funding has provided enhanced marketing and events management initiatives to create and elevate peripheral activities around regional thoroughbred race meets in Kalgoorlie, Bunbury & Broome over the next 3 years.

ICEHOUSE

Undoubtedly one of Australia’s most beloved, revered and successful bands, ICEHOUSE has been warmly embraced in their recent return to the concert and recording arenas

Their last outdoor show in WA at Kings Park was truly amazing, with fans ecstatic about the power and musicality of the band, the timelessness of the songs, the strength of Iva Davies’ unique voice and the great show ICEHOUSE is delivering.

The Broome Town Bus service will be supplying a bus service running from the Cable Beach Ampitheatre to Town between 9pm and 10:30pm after Cable Sounds on Sunday 2nd June.
