In just 3 weeks time, the East Kimberley region will come alive with the annual 10-day Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster featuring an outstanding line-up of concerts and events for the entertainment of Kimberley residents and the many visitors from around the nation and across the globe that the region attracts at this time of the year.
Tickets are selling faster than anticipated to highlight events. In fact the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Road Show at The Hoochery on May 28 and the Durack Homestead Dinner hosted by celebrity chef Poh Ling Yeow on May 31, have already SOLD OUT!
Melbourne International Comedy Festival Road Show will feature MC Joel Creasey, David Quirk, Marina Franklin (USA) and Smart Casual.
In other exciting news, it has just been announced that one of Australia’s favourite comedians, Tom Gleeson will MC the spectacular Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience featuring Australian music legends Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers and The Black Sorrows, at the Jim Hughes Ampitheatre under the Kimberley moon by the banks of the majestic Ord River on Saturday, June 2.
Gleeson has enjoyed many television appearances, has had numerous sell out shows across Australia and has performed several times at major comedy festivals across the globe.
Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience audience members are invited to bring a rug, picnic hamper and esky or indulge in the Kimberley Fine Diamonds Corporate Circle with fine wines and a delicious sit-down dinner by one of Western Australia’s most dynamic chefs, Don Hancey.
For those who missed out on tickets to the Durack Homestead Dinner hosted by Poh Ling Yeow, a limited number of tickets are still available to her Kimberley Kitchen in Celebrity Tree Park on May 30 at which ABC1’s “Poh’s Kitchen” celebrity chef will delight audiences with live cooking demonstrations using the finest ingredients that the Kimberley region has to offer. As a special treat, Poh will also whip up delicious mocktails for the crowd to compliment their tasting of her dishes. This will be followed by a book signing.

“Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster” has won the “Significant Festivals & Events” category of the WA Tourism Awards for 3 consecutive years 2008-2010. Last year the event was placed in the WA Tourism Hall of Fame, where it joined the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience.
The Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster is supported by the State Government through Eventscorp’s Regional Events Programme, which is funded by Royalties for Regions.
