Bluesfest Perth 2023
In association with the award winning Bluesfest Byron Bay, Mellen Events is delighted to announce that Bluesfest is coming to Perth direct from Byron Bay for the first time on Saturday, 1st April 2023 with a celebration of blues and roots music at Nikola Estate in the Swan Valley.
This huge day of live music will feature four-time GRAMMY Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, The Doobie Brothers; Australian singer, song-writer John Butler; multiple ARIA-Award winning R&B-pop artist Jessica Mauboy, globally recognised Michael Franti & Spearhead and declared by Rolling Stone to be “ one of the most exciting young guitarists in years”, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram! New additions to the lineup include Russell Morris, Blue Shaddy, Roshani, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, 19-TWENTY and more!
Counting Crows will unfortunately no longer be performing at Bluesfest Perth due to illness.
Bluesfest Perth of course will go ahead with a fantastic line up of artists with both John Butler and Michael Franti now playing extended sets.

- Car park opens 2:00pm.
- Parking ticket must be displayed for entry.
- Parking without a prepaid ticket on event day is subject to availability and will be charged at $30.00 for ALL vehicles.
- Approx. 10-minute walk to main entry.
- The venue is a functioning winery so wear appropriate footwear and watch your step.
- Midland train line closed! Transperth Journey Planner can be used to find an alternative option to the station. Public transport is NOT included in your event ticket.
- Free Shuttle service reduced due to line closure. This may result in a delay in getting to the venue. Other transport options are recommended.
- Shuttle service will commence from 2:15pm-7.30pm. Leaving Midland Station approx. every 20mins.
- Lookout for the Bus West shuttle bus. Pick-up point will be near the train station entrance on the car park side.
- This service will resume post show at 10:15pm; however, you may be required to wait at the venue for an available spot on the shuttle. Please remember this is a free service.
Please ensure you are at your departure location PRIOR to the departure time. The bus will not wait for you.
Buses returning post show will depart the venue at 11:00pm. After the show has concluded, return to your exact drop-off location in the bus loop. The bus will not wait for you.

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET FOR MY BABY or CHILD?
All patrons, including minors & babies, must have a valid ticket for entry. All minors under 18 years of age who have purchased a ticket will only be permitted into the concert site if they are accompanied by their parent/legal guardian. If a minor is NOT ACCOMPANIED by their parent/legal guardian, they will be refused entry to the concert and they will not receive a refund on their ticket.
MY GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS SAY "GENADM" BUT HAVE ROW & SEAT NUMBERS ON THEM - WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

General Admission Grass ticket holders will need to bring a picnic blanket or rug with them to sit on (should you wish) or alternatively a low-to-the-ground beach style chair or director/camping chair. Please note that beach chairs (being low-to-the-ground) will be positioned in the first half of the General Admission Grass area and director/camping chairs (being higher off the ground) will be positioned toward the rear of the General Admission Grass area.
I LOST SOME BELONGINGS AT A SHOW - WHAT DO I DO?

I PURCHASED A DRINK (ALCOHOLIC) AT THE VENUE & HAVEN'T FINISHED IT BY THE END OF THE SHOW. CAN I WALK OUT THE VENUE WITH IT?
No, the event area is a licensed venue and as such, no alcohol can be taken off the premises (just as you can't purchase a drink at a pub and walk out with it - it must be consumed within the licensed area). Please assist security by leaving any unfinished alcoholic beverages behind

Perth Bluesfest is Licensed All Ages. Strictly no BYO alcohol. Food will be available on site or BYO. Under 18 patrons must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult. ALL patrons must have a ticket, regardless of age.
EVENT PARKING
All vehicles parking at Nikola Estate for Perth Bluesfest will require a parking pass. You can pre-purchase your pass while buying event tickets or access the parking purchase link from the Perth Bluesfest Nikola Estate Event page on Ticketmaster.
$5.00 = PRE-PURCHASED CAR-POOL PARKING PASS (4 or more paying ticket holders per car)
$20.00 = PRE-PURCHASED CAR PARKING PASS (under 4 paying ticket holders per car)
$30.00 = ALL EVENT DAY CAR PARKING (parking purchased on the day of the event is subject to availability and will be charged at $30.00 for all cars)

• There are no refunds for pre-paid parking if you arrive with four or more passengers.

NIKOLA ESTATE
Nikola Estate is located on the stunning banks of the Swan River. Nikola Estate (formerly Houghton Winery) is one of Australia’s oldest, most iconic estates, with vineyard plantings dating back to 1930. The light and airy cellar door is surrounded by lush gardens, stately pines and blooming Jacaranda Trees, offering a magnificent location for an outdoor concert.

• Please note that the contact details provided at the point of purchase (email, mobile, mailing address) are the details used to communicate all VIP information.
• A TEXT with a link to VIP instructions OR an EMAIL, will be sent 3-5 business days before the event with timings and additional information. Please contact info@mellenevents.com if this is not received. We also send reminder texts the day of the show detailing the time and location of check in.

A seating area is provided for those with wheelchair requirements.
VIP Blues-Best Platform & VIP Best of Both packages gain access to a reserved VIP viewing platform. Some seating options provided within this area; however patrons can bring a picnic rug or low-to-the-ground beach style seating if preferred/required.
