To celebrate their return to Perth for their first WA shows in 10 years – The National will be performing their acclaimed fifth studio album High Violet in its entirety as well as fan favourites on Night 2, Sunday, March 10.

Don’t miss this amazing chance to see these two completely unique sets by The National in Perth over two incredible nights this weekend! Final tickets available at now

The National return to Australia for the first time since 2018, joined by very special guests Fleet Foxes, and Annie Hamilton.

This extraordinary line-up sees The National and Fleet Foxes touring together for the very first time. Perth shows take place in the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Saturday, March 9 & Sunday, March 10, 2024.

In conjunction with the Australian tour announcement, The National have dropped a new release ‘Laugh Track’, the surprise second half of a double album which began with ‘First Two Pages Of Frankenstein’ released in April this year. The sibling records mark albums nine and ten for The National and are a continuing testament to the more than two decades the band have delivered us songs of immense pathos and beauty.

Their lengthy career has led to extraordinary success, including winning a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album for 2017’s ‘Sleep Well Beast’, headlining festivals around the world, offered up classic songs including ‘Bloodbuzz Ohio’, ‘Mr November’, ‘Fake Empire’ and ‘I Need My Girl’, and working with countless culture-defining artists including collaborations with Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, Taylor Swift, and Sufjan Stevens.

Joining The National for the tour will be one of Indie Folk’s most acclaimed acts, Fleet Foxes. Led by lead singer-songwriter Robin Pecknold, Fleet Foxes have won a legion of fans and garnered critical acclaim for making music full of wonderful orchestrations, and gorgeous melodies that fuse earthy, harmony-rich folk-rock with a sense of lush pop sophistication.

Also last here in 2018, Fleet Foxes will tour Australia for the first time since the release of their 2020 fourth studio album ‘Shore’, which earned the band their second Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album, and sweeping praise from MOJO (five stars), Rolling Stone (four stars), and Pitchfork (the fifth consecutive Best New Music), with Rolling Stone calling the album ‘...the most immediately rewarding Fleet Foxes record since their brilliant 2008 debut.’

Opening for all shows will be Australian singer, songwriter, and guitarist Annie Hamilton.
